The local veggies were fresh and bursting with flavor, making every meal an adventure. The property has a fantastic beach area with a slide and climbing fun—ideal for family bonding! Plus, the easy access to docking and swimming in the lake was a real highlight.

Upon arrival, we encountered a dank, smelly room with a faulty A/C that sounded like a motorcycle. Unfortunately, the check-in process was more confusing than expected, leaving us feeling neglected before we even settled in.

halesford harbour resort, smith mountain lake has a great location right on the lake, perfect for a relaxing getaway. the patio is a nice touch, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook. we appreciated the clear instructions provided upon arrival.

Had an awesome stay! The on-site restaurant was fantastic and the cozy fire pit really made our evenings special. Just wish the heating system worked a bit better in the bedroom. 🌟
